Meet the Breeder

I am Michelle Piatt, owner/breeder of Tx-Elfkatz. I have been breeding Devon Rex cats since 2013 and a cat lover for as long as I can remember. They are my hobby and my passion.

 

I am also involved in The International Cat Association (TICA) as Treasurer of the TICA South Central Region. As Secretary/Treasurer of the Friends and Felines Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, I have helped to put on many cat show and adoption events which have assisted rescue organizations in finding homes for cats in need as well as raising funds for feline disease research.

 

Professionally, I have an MBA and a BS in Accounting and work full time as an Accountant. Personally, I am the mother to 5 daughters and a son, and grandmother to 7 wonderful grandchildren.

 

In my spare time, I love spending time with my family both furry and human. I also enjoy networking with a large group of fellow feline lovers and many weekends are spent traveling around the USA showing my cats.

 

I take great pride in the work that I have done with the Devon Rex breed. Many of our breeding cats have earned Regional wins and titles in both CFA and TICA. But the part I enjoy most is sharing these precious little Devons with all the amazing families that are now part of our Elfkatz family.
